Attending the Field of Dreams event with our Presenting Community Partner, Wachovia, A Wells Fargo Company, and our Honorary Chair, Paul DiMeo from ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, will be a unique and exciting experience. Come dressed in your favorite casual attire; this is not your standard “black-tie” sit-down dinner with a formal program.

The event will be held at Nationals Park where you will:

 ·         Mingle with former MLB players Mike Devereaux and Frank Howard

 ·         Experience the beautiful Diamond and President’s Clubs 

 ·         Step out onto the outdoor patios and wander down to the warning track, where you are free to stop by the dugouts for a cocktail

 ·         Pop into the batting cages where you can use all of the equipment and have balls professionally pitched to you. Don’t forget to put on a show for those watching you from the President’s Club above, relaxed in club chairs and viewing you and your friends through the glass wall!

 ·         Enjoy gourmet ballpark fare at tasting and chef carving stations

 ·         Partake in one of the behind the scenes tours that takes you around the facility, the press box – even to the normally very off-limits players’ dressing rooms! 

 ·         Meet the National’s mascot Screech!

As a supporter of this event, you will help advance The Fishing School’s mission to offer every child a brighter future through education. What started as the dream of a passionate and committed DC Police Officer, Tom Lewis, is now a 20 year success story that has changed the lives of thousands of children in our community and has been recognized by the White House as having academic programs that are one of the best in our nation’s capital.

And about that formal program . . . relax in the viewer’s seats outside and take in the Jumbo-tron for a short program celebrating 20 years of changing lives.
